NEWS FLASH: if you are traveling out to the Games and you haven't gotten your spectator tickets, do it now! They are almost sold out.
It's Time...
Get ready to change your life. It's time for another 30-Day Paleo Challenge!
This Challenge is open to everyone - new members who haven't yet taken the plunge into Paleo, old members who have fallen off the bandwagon or Paleo devotees who just need to tighten it up a bit.
The 30 days will begin with a strict, 21-day sugar detox. Get of the crack! Sugar means not only white/processed sugar, but also fake sugar (stevia, Sweet-n-Low, etc.), Paleo sweeteners (agave, honey, etc.), and ALCOHOL. If you can't commit to giving these things up for 21 days, then this challenge is not for you. If you don't want to commit to the Challenge because you've got a (fill-in-the-blank-with-an-excuse), then this Challenge is not for you.
If I sound like a tyrant, it's for good reason. You have to completely rid your body of the inflammatory, insulin-spiking, gut-irritating foods in order to heal it and feel the full benefits of this way of life. Ask anyone else who has done this and they will tell you it's totally worth the initial sacrifice.
If you're interested in getting leaner, feeling better and experiencing increased performance, then let's do it!
Here are the details:
- Kick-off meeting/Paleo explanation/Q&A session, Tuesday June 5 at 5:30. (if you've attended a session before, it's not mandatory that you attend again)
- You will cook and eat delicious whole foods - meat, vegetables and healthy fats - and we will give you lots of resources and support.
- Challenge starts: Wednesday, June 6
- Challenge ends: Thursday, July 5
- Cost: $25 ($20 to go into the "pot" for the winner)
- One winner will be chosen based on compliance (food logs) and their change in before and after photos. Winner receives an unlimited month of CrossFit for free and a wad of cash!
